Wedding Reception Venue | Parlour Wine Room, New Acton
Are you looking for an alternative wedding ceremony and reception venue, instead of a traditional space? If so, then Parlour Wine Room in Canberra’s New Acton precinct, might be the perfect option. Matt and Ella chose to have a relaxed, casual cocktail style wedding reception instead of a more formal traditional sit down dinner.
Wedding Ceremony Venue | Yale Columbia Dome, Mt Stromlo
They held their wedding ceremony in the burnt ruins of the Yale Columbia Dome at the top of Mt Stromlo. It’s such an iconic Canberra venue with a great view, and at the same time it still manages to feel a bit unique and different. The only suggestion that we’d make if you have your wedding ceremony here, is to have a wet weather back up option just in case. The Yale Columbia Dome is completely open, so heavy rain would definitely put a dampener on the celebrations.
Below are 60 of our favourite photographs from the day out of the 500 or so that we delivered to Ella and Matt. They booked us over a year in advance, and we got to know them pretty well over that time. Getting to know your photographer is really important. That way you feel more comfortable to be yourselves in front of the camera, and it helps us to get candid, documentary photographs that tell the story of your wedding.
