Thailand is beautiful in so many ways – the people, the food and the scenery just to name a few of the highlights. We can understand why Phuket is such a popular destination wedding location, and why Clair and Tim chose to celebrate their marriage here. Not only was it the perfect opportunity for their closest family and friends to enjoy a holiday, it was also the first stop on Clair and Tim’s round the world honeymoon trip! Your wedding ceremony and reception can fly by when it’s all over in one afternoon. Not everyone wants to have an overseas destination wedding, and some of us don’t have the luxury of being able to. If you’re wanting to make a weekend out of your wedding, we’d recommend choosing a destination within a few hours from home. That way your family and friends travel just a short distance, and you can extend the celebrations for a pre-wedding dinner and a post-wedding breakfast. We’re happy photographing and filming weddings at home here in Canberra, close by on the South Coast of New South Wales, the Southern Highlands or Sydney, as well as across Australia and internationally. We’ll travel anywhere for your wedding!

The end of the monsoon season in Thailand brought torrential afternoon rain to the party, but luckily it cleared in time for fireworks and lighting the lanterns. We feel privileged that Clair and Tim chose to have us join them in Thailand to photograph their intimate wedding day. We’re sure that they’ll have awesome memories from their week long celebration in Phuket for years to come.
