Pialligo Estate is a beautiful new wedding ceremony and reception venue in Canberra. Just 11 days after Josie and Thom’s spring wedding, a devastating fire ripped through the Pialligo Estate Farmhouse completely destroying the restaurant. Fortunately everyone was evacuated safely and no one was hurt. Incredibly the venue was up and running and it was business as usual the very next day. Two days after the fire, Pialligo Estate held an amazing wedding in the glasshouse. It takes an incredible team to pull that off, and we have great admiration for their strength and resilience. Sadly the farmhouse is now closed until further notice.

Luckily for Josie and Thom and their guests, they were unaffected by the fire. Their wedding was a sunny spring day with a fun and relaxed vibe. The Pialligo Estate lawns are perfect for a twilight ceremony, followed by canapés amongst the gardens. You can also hold your ceremony in the olive grove, the orchard or the vineyard. The garden pavilions are available for a cocktail reception venue, or there’s the glasshouse for a seated dinner and reception. We encourage brides and grooms to hold their ceremony and reception at the same venue if it’s possible. Make the most of your day with family and friends who have travelled to celebrate with you!
