Poachers Pantry is one of Canberra’s favourite wedding ceremony and reception venues. As photographers and videographers, we know all the best on site locations to make the most of beautiful countryside scenery. The Homestead lawn ceremony venue is shaded by a gorgeous golden elm tree, with magnificent golden light in the late afternoon. After exchanging vows, guests can enjoy drinks and canapés. There are two venues to choose from for your reception, the casual restaurant which was fully renovated in 2016, and the marquee amongst the gardens. The restaurant with it’s wooden floors and stone fireplace, is wrapped by a terrace and deck which overlooks the kitchen garden. The marquee is set in it’s own grounds with a lawn and gazebo, and is a blank canvass where you can create your own style.

We love Poachers Pantry because it allows you to have your ceremony, photography and reception all in one stunning rural location.
