Sydney wedding reception venue Simmer on the Bay is a bayside waterfront space in the Walsh Bay complex on Hickson Road at Dawes Point. Tamara and Paul celebrated in style that’s for sure – we don’t always get a fancy boat ride across Sydney harbour from the ceremony to the reception venue. Tamara and Paul arrived by boat at Simmer on the Bay’s private pier.

Imagine enjoying canapes with your guests on the deck while you watch the sunset over Sydney harbour. Simmer on the Bay can cater for up to 200 guests seated, and up to 600 cocktail style. The reception venue offers a dedicated catering team to look after you and your guests.

How about a local park or reserve for your ceremony? Tamara and Paul held their wedding ceremony at Gladesville reserve, an outdoor garden venue close to their home. Just make sure you have a wet weather back up, luckily Tamara and Paul didn’t need one this day. They chose a spot close to their hearts and their home to marry each other.

One of the best things about your wedding day is that you can make it personal and meaningful to you by adding touches of your personality to events on the day. Tamara and Paul had Poncho their cute puppy as the ring bearer.
