The Social Club is the perfect space if you’re on the hunt for a unique wedding ceremony and reception venue in Canberra. The Social Club describe their venue as being a boutique, blank canvas event space situated on the first floor of the 1950’s built ‘Douros Building’ in Kingston. “With its expansive floorplan, soaring ceilings and views over Greensquare, this hidden gem is truly a one-of-a-kind venue in Canberra.”

The Social Club’s summer 2018 wedding showcase was a fantastic opportunity to see the venue in person and meet some of their amazing suppliers. The evening included an informative Q&A session with industry experts, light canapés and drinks. We spoke at the event about wedding photography and video alongside Amanda Thorson, and gave couples an insight into why wedding photography and video is important. We filmed this video for The Social Club to show their space and what you can do there for your own wedding.
