Chelsea and Eric held their wedding ceremony at the Brassey Hotel Gardens in Barton, and their wedding reception at the Social Club in Kingston.
Why do we do what we do? Through weddings we can give something valuable to people that they can’t give to themselves. We get the opportunity to produce work that people will look at and value in 50 and 100 years time. There aren’t many other areas of photography or video you can say that about. Weddings have this perfect mix of emotion, relationships, people and events to document. They are real, honest and raw, and the story is all there for us to film and photograph. Our connections with each other are one of the most meaningful things in life. We love the thought of people looking at our photos and videos, and remembering everyone who is important to them how they felt in those moments.
Autumn is our favourite time of year to get married in Canberra, especially during March and April. There are so many beautiful photo locations to explore with the changing autumn colours. It is also one of the most popular times of the year to get married, so make sure you get in early to book all the vendors you’d like to work with. Photographers, videographers, venues and celebrants in particular are often booked out a year or more in advance during March and April. If you’ve got guests travelling from interstate for your wedding, you could make the most of one of the long weekends and have your guests stay for the weekend to celebrate.

“Anthea and Lyndon you are amazing! We couldn’t of asked for a more amazing day and you both made it so special. Eric and I had such a wonderful time at the lake with you. We have heaps of respect for you two, and we want to be as good a team as the two of you are!”
